Very compact, small & durable structure
Thanks to its relatively small & compact structure the TMK Hold & Cut can be properly used in tight situations as well as urban areas. Its small frame makes it possible to cut trees & branches directly at the root of the stem. High quality Hardox with the durable structure helps the TMK Hold & Cut persist in the toughest situations.

Moving blade & counterblades ensure clean cut
The sharp Hardox blade is moved by a powerful cutting cylinder. The moving blade combined with the counterblades ensure a clean & safe cut. The blades are made out of Hardox 500 metal that can handle the stress generated by cutting trees and make the blades last longer with proper sharpening.
Double grapples keep material in place
Thanks to the two moving grapples, the tree is safely in place during cutting. The counterblades cut into the tree, which further improves stability & safety.

Rotator availability

THE THIRD TMK PRODUCT FAMILY
After making probably the most popular Tree Shear in the world and venturing beyond Tree Shears with the Multigrab, the TMK Hold & Cut is our third product family revealed along with the TMK GrappleSaw. The TMK Hold & Cut fills the void between a Tree Shear & a GrappleSaw, coming to help when guaranteed safety is needed. By utilizing a Hold first, cut second workflow, the TMK Hold & Cut is a much safer option for forestry work done in demanding situations. This product is for those that need the power & speed of a Tree Shear without sacrificing even a bit of safety.
The TMK Hold & Cut is available for 13-25tn excavators with a plethora of available quick couplers & adapters to choose from. TMK Hold & Cut is available to be purchased with a Rotator which enables 360 degrees of rotation. The Hold & Cut as well as the Rotator can be controlled with 1-3 double acting hydraulic lines depending on the base machine in use. In addition the rotator & blade can be controlled with pressure diversion, electricity or wireless control thanks to our 4-in-1 hydraulics familiar from our TMK Tree Shear product line.
The frame, grapples & blade of the TMK Hold & Cut are made from Hardox steel. The robust structure makes sure that it will last a long time. The Hold & Cut is rated for 350mm softwood & 300mm hardwood which can be further customized with the proper cutting cylinder with the same familiar cylinders available as with our TMK Tree Shears.
