TREE SHEAR FOR THE SMALLEST MACHINES

TMK 150 is a nimble shear to smaller machines. This shear fits for example on 1-4 tonnes excavators, mini loaders, forest trailers or tractor cranes. 8 mm thick base plate, made out of Hardox 500 steel is sharpened to act as the cutting blade. The frame of the shear is made out of Hardox 400 steel, so don’t let the cute looks mislead you; this shear is made for real work and can cut up to 150 mm trees. TMK 150 is a great way to utilize small excavators, mini loaders, or tractor cranes to efficient biomass harvests, roadside clearing or just tidying up your yard.

EXCAVATORS

TMK 150-F fits to excavators. TMK Tree Shear F-series shears are attached to the base machine by fixed mounting without any extra rotators or hanging linkages. F-series shears are suitable for example for excavators, mini loaders, skid steers, telehandlers, or for example to the front loader of a tractor. The strengths of the F-series shears are simplicity and durability. If your machine, for example an excavator, already has a tilt rotator, or you don’t require your shear with a tilting or rotating feature, the F-series shears are the right choice for you.

TMK 150-F weighs only 85 kg without the coupler plate, and thanks to its light weight, it can be used even on a 1 tonne excavator. Still due to its high-quality frame made out of Hardox 400 steel and durable Hardox 500 blade, it can be used with up to 4 tonnes excavators. Due to the fixed blade, it can cut 150 mm trees with just 180 bar of pressure. The cutting force can be increased by pushing the shear against the tree with the excavator boom.

TRACTOR CRANES AND FOREST MACHINES

TMK 150-H is a perfect shear for small and mid-sized cranes and forest trailers. TMK Tree Shear H-series shears are equipped with a linkage to enable easy installation for cranes. H-series shears are installed under the rotator and uses the same hydraulic as the normal log grapple uses. The linkage enables smooth operation and access to the base of the trees even in unlevel terrain with a tilt angle of 165 degrees. The powerful cylinder in the tilt and the strong structure makes sure that the handling of the cut tree and the felling and piling is controlled and efficient under the rotator. H-series shears are suitable for example for tractor cranes, forestry trailers, and forwarders.

The shear with the hanging linkage weighs only 120 kg, so it can be mounted to a wide range of different sized cranes. The hanging linkage can be controlled with pressure valves, or wirelessly with radio control. In both cases no extra hydraulics or cables along the boom are needed. With as little as 180 bars of pressure up to 150 mm trees can be cut.
